Standing seam roofs
The double standing seam and angle seam
system is the most common combination
for roof and wall coverings from aluminium,
copper, hot galvanised steel, titanium zinc
alloys, and stainless steel. It can be used
without problems and versatile irrespective
of the architectural design.
By using suitable profiling and seam folding
machines the sealing of the double and angle
seams can also be achieved efficiently and
whilst saving time.
The mechanical profiling and seam folding
results in a homogenous technical and op-
tical quality of the design of the longitudinal
joint, which was not possible with the pre-
viously prevalent manual finish.
The use of the above mentioned machines
has today often become a natural choice
especially for suitable roof and facade sur-
faces and roll lengths of sheet; as has the
use of special tools, e.g. for sealing or edging
simple seam folds and gutters.
